Royal Artillery Sword

 

A forged blade - either stainless steel, high carbon steel or nickel-plated high carbon steel blade hardened and tempered to ca. 48-52° HRC Rockwell and hand-polished. Both sides are etched using a traditional acid etching technique that results in an etching so deep, that one can feel it with a fingernail. The dimensions of the blade are ca. 870 x 6 x 25 mm.

 

 

Cast brass, hand-polished and nickel-plated.

 

 

Handle covered with genuine stingray skin, wrapped with 3 silver-plated brass wires.

 

 

Solid brass screw.

 

 

Made of solid brass casting and nickel-plated.

 

 

Genuine leather.

 

 

Steel scabbard:  1 mm iron steel tube with brass mouthpiece and 2 stainless steel carrying rings.

Leather scabbard: wooden body covered with genuine brown leather, nickel-plated mouthpiece and 2 stainless steel carrying rings
